Eclipse AMS (Alarm Management System) enables your staff to quickly and easily identify problem areas and take appropriate action. Using Eclipse AMS, you will be able to provide a higher quality of service to your customers at a lower cost.

Alarm Escalation
The software will automatically detect, filter and report real alarm and event data that it receives from remote sites. You can use Eclipse AMS to monitor a variety of equipment and systems, in particular PBXs and other communications equipment. Automatically reported alarms can be actively managed, initiating call-outs to your service engineers when necessary.

The GUI interface allows you to create a number of operational views including active alarm list, site status and network schematic. If you have any non-technical personnel, they will quickly be able to configure the software for a number of remote sites, group and link those sites together, configure alarms and assign engineers to rotas. The GUI interface uses multiple colours to display the status of a particular site: red for an alarm that has been activated, amber for an alarm that has been acknowledged and green for an operational status.

A comprehensive alarm history is available to you by site, site group or for all sites. An engineer can initiate an MMI (Man-Machine Interface) session directly to the remote site through the Eclipse AMS GUI front-end, in order to troubleshoot or fix a problem.

Eclipse AMS can re-broadcast an individual alarm notification to one of your duty engineers using a number of delivery methods including SMS, pager or email. The duty rota within the software decides which engineer or group of engineers it should contact regarding the alarm depending on the site, alarm, time of day or day of the week. Different types of alarms can be assigned different severity codes so that alarms can be prioritised by urgency.

If you do not want the capital expense and operational overhead of an in-house system, we can offer Eclipse AMS functionality as a managed service. If you would like to know more about this product, you can contact us or download the literature
